 TIERNAN HD ENCODER, AVC4000HD, 4:2:0: High Definition AVC ++PLUS++ Standard Definition (MPEG2 only) 4:2:0 or 4:2:2 encoder. Two encoders in-one chassis. AVC MPEG4 Video Encode Bit rate runs to 20 Mbps AVC MP@L4. Unit can be used to encode four AES/EBU digital stereo pairs via BNC, embedded and Balanced Audio via DB-9. AC-3 2.0 encoding with AC-3 5.1 and Dolby E passthrough. Unit comes with analog video and two SD SMPTE 259 video input interfaces as well as two ASI and one SMPTE310M output. Remote control via RS232, Ethernet and embedded Web browser. Conditional access via PGCA or optional BISS scrambling.
