| Non-Penetrating and Penetrating Support System |
 The AFC HD is designed to handle up to and including a 4.5M antenna. Larger antennas may be used, but each installation must be reviewed by Baird to determine if the mount can withstand the loads. The mount is available in four footprints ranging rom 16' x 16' (shown) to 24' x 24' to spread the ballast load over a greater area. The AFC HD must be used in conjunction with an adapter kit (not pictured) which allows the antenna support structure to attach to the AFC HD base. The maximum length of any part of the AFC HD is 8' to allow for easier shipping and handling.
1. Handles up to a 4.5M antenna. Larger antenna may be used on the AFC HD. However, each installation must be examined to determine if the mount can withstand the wind loads it may be subjected to at the site.
2. Footprints
a. 16' = 16' = 256 sq.ft.
b. 18'8" x 18'8" = 349 sq.ft.
c. 21'4" x 21'4" = 454 sq.ft.
d. 24' x 24' = 576 sq.ft.
Finish - Hot dip galvanized
The AFC HD requires and adapter kit (not shown) to mount the antenna. Each adapter kit is designed to handle a specific antenna, based on the antenna diameter and antenna manufacturer.
Ballast required will be recommended based on antenna diameter, type and survival requirements.
It is the customer’s responsibility to see that all applicable codes are satisfied. it is suggested that a structural engineer review the application of this product.
A pad can be supplied to isolate the mount from the roof surface.
Under extreme wind conditions the mount should be tethered with cable.
